Dandelion/Nutrient Depletion:
  • GlucoseGlucose: Based on an animal study, dandelion may lower blood sugar levels (8; 9), although another study notes no changes (28).
  • PotassiumPotassium: Dandelion may alter the effects of potassium. Dandelion has historically been used as a diuretic, and may lower blood potassium levels. However, dandelion also contains potassium. Human clinical evidence is lacking.
